Paying in full

How can I pay?

When you are able to make a payment please contact your assessor to make them aware how and when you are able to make the payment. Most students make the payment via bank transfer as there is no charge, however you can make a payment over the phone via credit card. The details for payment are as follows:

Bank Transfer: If you have online banking you will be able to make a payment with no charge. You can also go down to your local branch who would be able to make the transfer for you. Please include your FULL NAME as the reference when you make the payment. The details are as follows:

Debit Card: If you would like to pay by debit card please call your assessor directly.

Credit Card: If you would like to pay by credit card please call your assessor directly. If you wanted to pay with a credit card, there is a 3% charge on the balance.

When should I make payment?

We require the payment in full or where applicable finance agreements signed 14 days before the first day of the course, please inform your assessor when you are going to be making the payment.

Loan Scheme

Will the credit application be accepted?

Provided that your second applicant meets the required criteria and subject to a credit check we can provide a loan agreement to cover the costs of your training fees.

Can I get personal funding without a 2nd applicant?

We are potentially able to offer single applicant loans to Blended Learning and E-Learning students only. Provided they are in FULL TIME employment and subject to a credit check.

What is a 2nd Applicant?

A 2nd applicant is an individual who is willing to jointly apply for finance with you; ideally they would be a member of your family or close friends. Your 2nd applicant can be either in full time employment or retired.

Will we be credit scored?

Yes, The Training Room applies for a credit score against yourself and your 2nd applicant to determine what loan product we can offer you, a footprint will be left on your credit file regardless if you take the loan product offered.

Can I pay my loan off early?

Yes, you can pay your loan agreement in full at any time after the signing the agreement without incurring any early repayment fees, just the interest incurred up to the point of settling the loan agreement.

Personal Funding via The Training Room

Simple, quick and easy to follow

All our loans are subject to a joint application and a comprehensive Credit Score. Our experienced underwriters will talk you and your 2nd applicant through each stage of the process, with a total application taking around 15 minutes to complete. We will contact you at a convenient time and date you choose.

The process

Once your £200 registration fee is paid, you will be passed over to our Underwriting team.

  • A credit application booking email will be sent to you, for you to agree with your 2nd applicant a time and date for our experienced underwriters to contact you via telephone and carry out the simple credit application.
  • Once the credit score has been obtained your original careers assessor will call you within 24 hours and inform you of the loan product The Training Room can offer.
  • A contract will be sent to your nominated email address, you and your 2nd applicant are required to sign and send back to our contracts team.

Only once all contracts have been received back your place on the course will be confirmed.

The Training Room Course

What time is the course?

The fast track course runs Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm back to back for 6 weeks. Attendance to the entire course is compulsory; however in exceptional circumstances if you need to take time off please contact your assessor prior to the course. The part time ‘blended’ course runs Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4.30pm once a month over 6 months.

Where is the course?

The Training Room has academies located nationwide. To find the nearest location to you simply go to our locations page and either type in your postcode or select a location from the map.

Will I get a uniform?

You will be provided with a branded Tribe Sports uniform free of charge to be worn on the course. You will be asked to order your uniform required size on the first day of the course.

What do I need to bring on the first day?

On the first day please wear suitable gym clothing and bring a pen. If you have any previous relevant qualifications please bring evidence with you. We will also require a photo ID from yourself to award you with your qualification. You will also need to bring a signed copy of our student contract. This, and all details about your first day, are available on our student are. You will be given details of the student area once you have registered for a course.

Can I use the gym during the course?

Many of our students may want to keep up their training routine on the course. In most cases you will be able to use the facilities in your lunch break or before / after the course. However, please check on our locations page for specific academy details.

Do I need to bring food?

Due to the nutritional demands of some of our students we do not provide food for students on the course. Most academies are located close to shops and/or you will be able to bring lunch with you.

Do I need to buy manuals?

No, you will be supplied with both the Level 2 and 3 manuals and will be given all of the learning materials required to complete your Training Room specialist certificates in Studio Cycling, Circuit Training, Gym Based Boxing and Sports Nutrition.
