Rosie

When The Training Room launched a competition to win a Personal Training course the response we received was incredible. We asked our loyal Facebook followers to either nominate yourself or a friend and boy did you!

The lucky winner, with 721 votes, was Rosie Wands. We caught up with Rosie post competition to find out a bit more about her and what she is going to do once she has gained the qualification

“I am currently studying for a degree in Sports Therapy. I had the option to do the fast track, part-time or e-learning course option. As I am already busy, I have gone with the e-learning course so I can carry on my studies and do this as well, I can’t believe how flexible it all is!!

I love working out and have already lost a stone since November. I have suffered from anxiety and so I train as it gives me something positive to focus on and it’s something I thoroughly enjoy. It definitely takes my mind off things!”

Vicki was her friend who nominated Rosie to win the course. We asked how this all came about…

“I couldn’t believe Vicki nominated me! Vicki is one of my training buddies who I met through my degree. She is awesome and nominated me out of the blue! She has boosted me a lot recently as I lost a very close friend, and even though she's been poorly, she's still checking up on me!’.

We asked Rosie what her plans are when she has passed her Personal Training e-learning course

“After the course, I am going to work at PureGym in York. I plan to hopefully build up a lot PT clients, as I already spend 5 days a week there! It’s almost a home from home for me and everyone is lovely! I can't wait to make the 721 people who voted for me proud".

The Training Room wish Rosie all the very best with her Personal Training course and we look forward to hearing about her progress! If you would like to follow in Rosie’s footsteps, maybe a career in Personal Training is for you, click here
