Introducing Beauty Courses at The Training Room
20 May, 2015 | In: Beauty
You already know you’re handy with a make-up brush, you know every beauty tip there is to know, and all your friends come to you for advice on how to get that perfect complexion everyone’s chasing. So why not turn all of that talent into a career as a beauty therapist?
The beauty industry is booming and is ever in need of more people with the passion and skill to come in and make their mark, so now is the perfect time to get started with The Training Room.
What Can I Learn?
Under the expert guidance of our tutors you will be taken through ITEC Diploma levels 2 and 3 which will prepare you for level 3 entry into the beauty industry.
With the help of your brand new beauty therapy starter kit you will polish your skills in a wide range of beauty treatments in areas such as:
- Eyebrows and eyelashes
- Facial skincare
- Waxing and threading
- Make-up application
- Manicure and pedicure
You will also be tutored in health and safety and the finer points of client care so that you’re industry-ready from the moment you qualify.
How Long Will It Take?
You might have thought that becoming a fully qualified beauty therapist would take an awfully long time, but this isn’t the case. With The Training Room you can be qualified in just 12 weeks if you choose the part-time weekday course. Don’t worry if you can’t commit to weekday studying, though. You can opt for a weekends-only course and still be qualified in just 10 months. What’s more, you don’t need any previous experience to be accepted on to the courses and we have a funding program to help you manage the cost of studying.personal trainer
Where Could It Lead Me?
Becoming a qualified beauty therapist opens a lot of doors when it comes to your career, like being able to open and manage your own salon. It may even open some doors you hadn’t thought of. For example, you might actually decide you want to share what you’ve learned with others and become a tutor. Or, if you discover an interest and talent in the more technical side of things you could go into a technical specialism such as laser treatment. Whatever you decide, you’ll receive plenty of guidance and help with getting into your first role after you graduate.
Where Do I Start?
If you like the idea of taking a beauty course, first pick a type of course – weekday or weekend – and choose your most convenient study location. We have academies in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Southampton.
