The training course leading up to the VTCT Diploma in Ladies Hairdressing is based on over 20 years’ hands-on experience in the hairdressing industry. Unlike some other part time hairdresser courses, ours is designed to give you a qualification that is “job ready” with all the skills you need to work (employed or self-employed) as a hairdresser/stylist.

Alan d Hairdressing Education have been training hairdressers and barbers from the UK & Worldwide at its flagship Academy in Central London since 1991. All courses are taught by the Alan d Hairdressing Education creative education team, led by creative director and director of education. The Diploma in Hairdressing is recognised and respected by leading employers. You can gain these qualifications learning on a part-time, two days a week basis. In around five months, you could be a fully qualified Hairdresser and working in your dream career.

Our training course includes practical training which takes place in a salon type environment and the essential theoretical study elements which can be done online in the comfort of your own home and at times that suit you.

There’s no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this hairdresser course. Apart from being at least 16 years of age, joining this part time course is open to all students, of all academic backgrounds.
